logo redesign.

brief: design a logo for a remote contractor company that incorporates a lightbulb and custom typography.

solution: thinking the name of the company rhymed with clementine (it doesn’t), I came up with several variations of the logo involving lightbulbs and oranges. The client loved the idea because their mission is to help remote workers grow. the client found the final logo refreshing and on point.

sketches: the logo started with several thumbnail-sized sketches to test different concepts out

presented to client: after exploring different options, I gave the client 2 versions I thought best solved the problem; I also showed the original logo for comparison

typography options: I tried different fonts before eventually choosing one that I could manipulate into my own unique font

mark options: I tried different stroke weights and styles of each concept we liked most

color options: I tried different color options that could be used beyond the logo and in the web application
